MRS. JANELLE DURHAM
I am Janelle Durham and the wife of Pastor Shem Durham of Calvary Baptist Church in Perry, Oklahoma. We have been serving there for 9 years with a total of 24 years in full time service.
I was raised in a Christian home and made profession of salvation at the age of 5, but it wasn’t until I was 23 and in Bible College that I realized through the conviction of the Holy Spirit that I was missing something - missing some ONE in my life. I was religious but lost. I made a profession but there was no possession. On March 20, 1999 I received Christ as my personal Lord and Savior after a youth meeting. I am forever grateful for the grace and mercy of God.
The Lord brought my husband and I together while we were both attending Bible College. We were married in 2000.
I am the mother of 3 adult children and enjoying the “empty nester season.” I am blessed with a precious daughter in law, and I am also enjoying this season of life as “GiGi” to my precious 1 year old grandson who is the joy of my life.
